MPC Paris delivered 250 VFX shots for Open Season 2 (Chasse Gardée 2), with work designed to support the film’s pace and the very distinctive energy of its world. The teams notably created fully digital herds of stags and does, as well as the return of Moshe the wild boar, an iconic animal character that received particular care in both animation and integration. An extremely fast hare also required extensive research to achieve the right on-screen dynamics. The sequences were supervised by Arnaud Fouquet and Fanny Bilani, with close attention paid to VFX production at every stage. Directed by Antonin Fourlon and Frédéric Forestier and produced by Starman Films, the film benefited from a close collaboration between the directors and MPC artists to create a cohesive, lively whole fully in service of the comedy and its visual spectacle.
