The Old Man
This is my first character bust (that I actually like). It started with a rough sketch with an interesting head shape, so I decided to give it a try on digital clay. Head and hair were entirely developed in Zbrush, but for the shirt and the tie I opted for marvelous design to get the basic folds to further sculpt with Zbrush. The tie knot was modeled in Maya along with the pedestal.
Textures where hand-painted directly into Zbrush. I used Unfold 3D for UV layout.
Eder Carfagnini (www.edercarfagnini.com) realized the final render using Vray for C4D, and also made the video presentation.
