FuseFX Recruiting VFX Recruitment Assistant
FuseFX Los Angles is currently seeking a VFX Recruitment Assistant based in our Los Angeles studio to administratively support a busy Production Talent Manager.
FuseFX is an emmy-award winning visual effects and animation studio focused on producing photo-real digital effects for feature film, episodic television, and commercials.
A successful candidate will be a highly organized, self-starter, interested in learning the recruitment life cycle in a fast paced, production environment. The role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our talent acquisition team.
Assist in scheduling all in-house interviews and coordinate booking rooms
Send out interview reminders to hiring managers
Sort and respond to all email applications submitted to the Los Angeles and New York studios
Track requisitions and provide status updates to hiring managers
Post jobs listings in Los Angeles and New York for open any position to company website and appropriate job boards
Provide administrative support to busy Production Talent Manager, including scheduling meetings, reviewing job applications, organizing database and sending staff extensions
Assist in data migration and project tracking to new recruitment software (Taleo)
Administer weekly staffing reports
Conduct regular database audits to ensure accurate and up to date information
Handle entries to internal approved vendor list
Participate in the planning of recruitment/ networking events ensuring that FuseFX is represented positively
Assist Production Talent Manager and HR in special projects as requested
Entry level position, recent college grad or 1-2 years work experience
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, Industrial relations, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, or a related field preferred
Must be willing to work production hours which means occasional overtime and weekends
Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
Previous experience in Visual Effects, Animation, Production or Technical recruiting preferred
Highly organized and effective problem solver
Demonstrated ability to build relationships both internally and externally with a customer-focused approach
Driven and determined to get things done positively and with enthusiasm
Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of their work
A self-starter with the ability to handle several projects at once with excellent planning and organizing skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to cope under pressure in a changing environment
Strong computer skills with proficiency working in Filemaker, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
