    Dreamworks Animation Recruiting Strategic Alliance Coordinator


    Responsibilities


    DreamWorks Animation partners with world-class technology and entertainment leaders to identify and develop state-of-the-art technological advancements, business and co-branded marketing alliances.


    The role and primary responsibility of the Strategic Alliances Coordinator is to support the Strategic Alliance department in the organization, tracking, scheduling, and timely delivery of select alliance engagements and requests originating from DreamWorks Animation and DreamWorks’ technology partners. In addition, the Strategic Alliances Coordinator will provide logistical and administrative support in service of department operations, as well as assist in communicating the history, culture, franchise properties, industry innovations and corporate strategy of DreamWorks Animation to local and global audiences, and partners. 


    Responsibilities include:


    • Conduct clear and consistent communication with Strategic Alliances Managers and Supervisors to identify status updates and necessary action steps for projects across all DreamWorks strategic partnerships

    • Effectively interface with Strategic Alliance team, technology and studio executives, NBCUniversal and partner representatives across all business units

    • Maintain department project tracking database

    • Run weekly department sync and other select meetings

    • Maintain and distribute all department engagement calendars

    • Generate quarterly & annual alliance project reports

    • Coordinate logistics for select onsite, offsite and virtual executive events

    • Assist with the organization of onsite, offsite and virtual partner screenings

    • Assist in the asset gathering, edit and review process for select partnership communications materials

    • Organize technology showcase preparation and day-of logistics, including scheduling, reservation of studio resources, confirming attendee lists, securing attendee NDAs and creation of executive agenda

    • Lead select studio tours that communicate the history, culture, franchise properties and innovations of • DreamWorks and its affiliates when necessary

    • Schedule, confirm logistics and secure talent for partnership photo shoots and video productions

    • Provide logistical support for corporate meetings, promotional partner activities, and on-campus receptions

    • Gather weekly press breaks on active and prospective partners

    • Research and distribute relevant industry articles pertaining to Strategic Alliances, DreamWorks, active and prospective technology partners

    • Administer access, security and condition of Strategic Alliances-managed facilities

    • Provide general department administrative support, including securing drive-ons, managing Briefing Center among other specific duties


    Qualifications/Requirements


    • Bachelor’s degree in related field


    Desired Characteristics


    • 2+ years of relevant industry experience preferred

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Business Administration preferred

    • Mastery of organizational skills and ability to multitask

    • Mastery of the English language with crisp, clear verbal communication skills in-person and across phone and video platforms

    • Heightened attention to detail in verbal, non-verbal, written and in-person communication and collaboration

    • Polished executive-level communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)

    • Demonstrate keen ability to collaborate with team members

    • Possesses positive attitude, ambition, willingness to learn processes and develop skills within department

    • Demonstrated ability to engage in formal, executive business meetings

    • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate successfully across diverse organizations and personnel

    • Demonstrated accountability and ownership over duties

    • Appreciation for/and ability to master technical acumen

    • Possesses public speaking experience, particularly as it pertains to general technology and enterprise messaging

    • Proficiency of software applications including: FileMaker Pro, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Google & Microsoft suites
